On the 30th of November we held our Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2023 and an End-of-year Gathering at the Sydney Estonian House. Thank you to all the members who were able to attend in person, via Zoom or be represented by a proxy!
In adherence to the constitution, all nine directors retired and were subsequently eligible for re-election. Two directors opted not to continue.
The re-elected directors include Marianna Jolla, Richard Kaljo, Aet Madison, Indrek Pernik, Liisa Pobul and Paul Semmel. Welcoming fresh perspectives, the board now features new directors Sulev Kalamäe, Marika Kompus and Jane Oja.
A sincere appreciation goes to outgoing directors Kristi Barrow, Karin Kalda, for their invaluable contributions and special thanks to Founding Director and Co-Chair, Virge Nielsen, for visionary leadership.
The AGM was followed by a networking event and a discussion panel featuring guest speakers Dr. Annika Kaabel Diversity Council of Australia's Research Manager and Jane Oja, Managing Director of Sydney Events Studio.
As EACCI looks forward, the organisation remains committed to growth and collaboration. Congratulations to the re-elected and newly elected directors.
