On the 14th of May 2025 we hosted our second annual Tech Talks at the Microsoft Reactor in Sydney. This year the topic was "Turning Ideas into Impact: AI, Startups and Scaleups".
The event was MC’d by Sulev Kalamäe and began with individual talks from our speakers – Merike Grünthal (Estonian Embassy in Canberra), Lucinda Longcroft (AI and Digital Transformation Consultant), and Daniel Spencer (Sleek) – each offering their insights on digital transformation, innovation, and international scale-up strategies.
This was followed by a panel discussion led by EACCI Director Indrek Pernik, diving deeper into the practical implications of AI, the pace of change across industries, and Estonia’s remarkable progress in digital governance.
We wrapped up the night with networking over Estonian-inspired refreshments and drinks, giving attendees the chance to connect and continue the conversation.
